Thursday Thirteen~C'mon Get Happy

13 THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY (in no specific order)

1. Participating in this every year!

2. My teen girl making the basketball team ('cause it makes her happy)

3. Having a church family to be in.

4. That first cup of coffee in the morning.

5. Having a hubby who has #4 ready for me when I get up.

6. Being able to read God's word without having to hide it.

7. Watching a great movie curled up on the couch next to my hubby.

8. Getting a haircut that turns out to be what I want.

9. Having a night where our family does something together.

10. My doggy, Samson (see sidebar picture)

11. Having nights where I don't have to run out anywhere.

12. A great book.

13. Visiting my blogging friends at their "place".

Number #6 is my #1, but I were really really honest, a VERY close second would be #4 =)

nice list Susanne! I liked #6- it's amazing how many Bibles most christian american families have just lying around the house,as 'extras'. we really are priviliged to be able to read the Bible freely.

I liked #13 too!

blessings,
Jenny

What a great list. You are so sweet to mention your blogging friends. #4,8,12,and 13 are my favorites. Of course #2 and 6 are truly blessings. Congratulate your daughter on the basketball team, that's awesome.

All of those would be on my list. We really are two peas in a pod aren't we? May every single one of those happen in the next week - spread out so that you can enjoy them all.

And congrats to your daughter! Way to go!

I love meme's, they always made me smile and specially your meme's with the spontaneus way you write. My dog looks just like yours, his name is Morty. I posted the brining process. Thank you for your interest and friendship.

GREAT list - makes me happy just reading it. Which is a feat because I am soooooo miserable with a terrible cold right now that I could CRY!!!! Okay - maybe not cry - but whine like a three year old I could manage!

I am considering giving in to my son and getting a dog. I am going to post about it in the next few days and ask peoples' opinions on what kind of dog we should get. What is your sweet little dog? He is so cute? Is he good with kids? I need a dog that is GREAT with little ones.

Do people actually get haircuts they like right away??? Number six must be the number one answer.

These are great "get happys". I'm with you on #6. Have you read "God's Smuggler". Really drives home how valuable this freedom is.
